Research Paper Intro
The virtual world of Second Life has begun to interest those in the educational field as a way to teach their students through experiences. In a traditional classroom, pupils are limited to the four walls that surround them. Besides the occasional field trip, students are restricted to learning by lectures and book-reading. Unlike a regualr online course, Second Life makes it possible to have live audio and regular class meetings. Though it may cause some concerns and problems between teachers and students. With having virtual classes, and no personal contact it leaves some to wonder, how effective can education in Second Life really be?

introduction #1
With today's world so focused on and revolving around technology, it's no wonder that Religion has mad it into Second Life. In Second Life, there are endless amounts of possibilities when trying to find a path of worship. Not being a devout "church go-er" myself, I found it compelling to see how Sims implemented their spirituality and beliefs into the Second Life world. Attending mass, finding a spiritual zone to meditate in or even inquire about the many beliefs of others are all made possible in Second Life.
